Overview
The rapid rate of development and modernization in the last century has come at the expense of our natural resources, and they are being increasingly depleted. There is also an ever-widening gap between the rich and the poor, resulting from unbalanced social and economic development. Therefore, sustainable development is now no longer just about the need to balance economic and social progress with concern for the environment, but also encompasses human and social factors, including the fight against poverty.

The declaration of the WSHS (the World Summit on Health Society) describes an Information Society "where everyone can enjoy and share health, enabling individuals, communities and peoples to achieve their full potential in promoting their sustainable development and improving their quality of life". Here at Easchem, we offer innovative solutions to people worldwide, in order to help people around the world gain access to the Health Society. We continually strive to carry out our responsibilities as a corporate citizen, in order to ensure sustainable development.

We will work to continuously improve our social performance by setting high objectives and integrating social, human rights and health & safety considerations into our daily business.

• We must always listen to the social responsibility expectations of our stakeholders and respond openly. We will have close relations to the communities where we operate and act as a good corporate citizen.
• We will establish and follow up on social responsibility minimum standards that are based on basic human rights and core labor standards.
• When collaborating with our stakeholders we want to encourage a social responsible behavior.
• We will consider the social impact when we develop new products.
• We will report openly on our social performance on a regular basis.
